The architecture of South Orange’s historic train station undeniably anchors the Village Center on Sloan street and plays an important role in the community’s strong connection to NYC and overall character. Their new brand exudes a “transit token” design feel that bridges traditional city aesthetics with the new modern vibe of the village. The scalloped ring element pays homage to the 1000+ gas lamps that line S.O. streets, adding to the logo mark’s sense of place.

Colors intentionally incorporate the burgundy of the Montrose Park Historic District, the blue of Seton Hall University, and the orange of The Baird Arts Center. All coming together in a swirling SO adds to the storyline of the “Right Blend”.

A website is the ideal avenue to roll out a new brand. Our highly functional, rich content, TownSight solution is custom designed for the new South Orange brand. Landing pages for local business niches enhance the promotion of local markets, helping district businesses compete with large malls and online proliferation.

The mobile version adapts to smart phone ergonomics and functions. All information for both versions, from news & events to business profile pages and media libraries are updated in one central, easy-to-use, content management system.
